Safari Itenrary

Day 1: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart after breakfast for Murchison Falls National Park, approximately a 6-7 hour drive. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking. Enjoy a lunch en route before proceeding to Murchison falls national park.Dinner and Overnight at Fort Murchison/Pakuba Safari Lodge

Day 2: Exploration of Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Look for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Return to the lodge for lunch. Take a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls. Disembark for a hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views.Dinner and Overnight

Day 3: Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, embark on a full-day drive to Kibale Forest National Park, approximately 7-8 hours. Enjoy a lunch en route and proceed to Kibale Forest. Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge at Kibale Forest Camp

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

After an early breakfast, head out for a briefing before your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Kibale Forest is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees. Spend the morning trekking through the forest, observing chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The trek can last from 2 to 4 hours. Return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk, rich in biodiversity and birdlife.Dinner and Overnight

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, approximately a 3-hour drive. Check into your lodge and have lunch. Enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, home to one of the largest concentrations of hippos and numerous bird species.Dinner and Overnight at Bush Lodge/Buffalo Safari Lodge

Day 6: Game Drives and Exploration in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Embark on an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Return to the lodge for lunch. Take another game drive or visit the Katwe Explosion Crater for stunning views and birdwatching.Dinner and Overnight

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours, passing through the Ishasha sector where you might spot tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a packed lunch en route. Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge at Bakiga Lodge/Gorilla Valley Lodge

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before your gorilla trekking adventure. Bwindi is home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Spend the morning trekking through the dense forest, led by experienced guides. Once you locate the gorillas, you will have an hour to observe and photograph them. The trek can last from 2 to 8 hours. Return to the lodge for a late lunch. Relax at the lodge or take a guided community walk to visit the local Batwa community and learn about their culture and traditions.Dinner and Overnight.

Day 9: Return to Entebbe and Departure

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe, approximately an 8-9 hour drive. Enjoy a hot lunch en route. Arrive in the late afternoon. Depending on your flight time, you can relax or do some last-minute shopping. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
