This 5 days Uganda adventure tour will give you an adrenaline rush providing the adventure you are seeking. Our first adventure will be white water rafting on River Nile, the worlds longest river which has its source in Jinja – Uganda. Hiking all the three water falls that make up Sipi falls will give you an experience like no other and finally you will take a 1 day hike up Mt Elgon to go through some of the different vegetation covers.
Day 1: Sezibwa falls, Mabira Forest Walk and Source of River Nile
The journey to Jinja offers beautiful scenery as you drive through plantations of sugar and tea, and colorful roadside fruit markets. Our first stopover is Sezibwa falls on River Sezibwa traditionally believed to been born by a woman.
Next stop is a hike through Mabira Forest; our guide will share the rich heritage of the Uganda people who lived in the forest and you will have opportunities of sighting or listening to different bird species, beautiful butterflies, primates, and tree species. You might be lucky to sight the Ugandan Mangabey found only in Uganda. There is also Zip lining which may be optional.
Finally, the highlight of the day is a boat ride to the “Source of the Nile” at the now submerged Rippon Falls. This is where the Nile starts its 4000-mile journey to the Mediterranean Sea from Lake Victoria. You will able to notice the Nile flow out of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Full day White Water Rafting on River Nile
Today you get to go rafting on the longest river in the world for a fulfilling adventure – do not wait to hear about it. This is a must do activity for adrenaline junkies. The Whitewater rafting goes through some of the best grade five rapids with wildly spectacular leaps and drops; enjoy the scenery of heavily forested islands and the roar of various waterfalls. Wooden canoes with locals congregate in the calm waters anxious to see the rafts in action. You have an option of rafting half day and spend the afternoon taking on the optional activities but this has to be planned prior. Remember to carry sunscreen because you will be directly under the sun for the entire day.

Day 3: Transfer to Sipi Falls – Mt Elgon
Today we leave Jinja, the source of river Nile after that exhilarating experience rafting the white waters of River Nile. We travel to Kapchorwa to hike the three water falls that together make up the Sipi Falls. The journey offers great views of mount Elgon on winding roads, scenery and roadside markets along the way.
You will trek the caves and bottom of Sipi falls with the natural splash of the water as it goes over the rocks. Later trek to the top of the falls to have another experience and view different activities. This will be on foot so one needs proper clothing, hiking shoes and enough energies to make it to all the three falls. According to Lonely Planet Guide, the sipi falls are “The most beautiful and romantic waterfall in the whole of Uganda”.

Day 4: One Day Hike Mt Elgon
We will leave the Lodge for Mount Elgon very early in the morning with packed lunch. Mt Elgon is the largest extinct volcano in the World and it borders with Kenya. You will be able to take one of the many trails by the help of your guide and see amazing scenery plus numerous species of birds. Return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 5: End of the adventure Safari
After breakfast prepare to leave for Entebbe International Airport. Depending on your flight time, you can do craft shopping in Kampala and relax by the beach or choose to extend your stay to explore the other national parks.
