Overview

Embark on an extraordinary 5-day safari adventure through Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse and scenic wildlife reserve. This journey invites you into the heart of East Africa’s wilderness, where sprawling savannahs, dense forests, and shimmering waterways converge to host a spectacular array of wildlife. From exhilarating game drives in search of iconic African species to a thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience in the mystical Kyambura Gorge, each day promises encounters with nature at its most raw and captivating.

Safari Itenrary

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Meet your guide and after a briefing, embark on your scenic journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. Make a short break at the equator in Kayabwe, participate in some hemispheric experiment, enjoy a local cuisine lunch before proceeding to Queen Elizabeth. On arrival, check into your lodge overlooking the park. Enjoy dinner and relax, preparing for the adventures ahead.Diiner and Overnight at Bush Lodge/Buffalo Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive in Kasenyi Plains and Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

Set out for a morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains, known for its diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and more. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. After lunch, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Enjoy sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge and Nature Walk

Enjoy breakfast before heading to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. Receive a briefing from park rangers and embark on a trek through the gorge in search of chimpanzees and other primates. Return from the trek and have lunch at the lodge. Take a guided nature walk around the lodge area or visit the nearby Maramagambo Forest for more primate and birdwatching opportunities. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Ishasha Sector Game Drive and Tree-Climbing Lions

Depart for Ishasha Sector, famous for its population of tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive through the savannah, keeping an eye out for these unique predators. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. Optional activities include a community visit or another game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Ishasha Wildness Camp

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Departure

Set out for a final morning game drive in a different sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out. Transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala, stopping for lunch en route. Depending on your departure time, relax at a hotel near the airport or proceed directly to Entebbe International Airport for your onward journey.
