Safari Itenrary
Day 1: Arrival in Kampala
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our driver guide, who will provide an overview of the safari. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight stay at Tilapia Lodge/2 Friends Beach Hotel
Day 2: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, we will head to Murchison Falls National Park in the northwestern part of Uganda. En route, we’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, followed by lunch in Masindi. Upon reaching the park, you may opt for an evening game drive to spot buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, elephants, and giraffes, among others. Dinner and overnight at the Fort Murchison Lodge
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
The day begins with a morning game drive to witness the early risers, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, and leopards. After lunch at the lodge, embark on an exciting boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, we set off for Kibale National Park. This full-day journey includes a stop for lunch and scenic views of local landscapes, traditional homesteads, Rwenzori Mountains, and tea plantations. Upon arrival, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
In the morning, attend a briefing at Kanyachu Visitors Centre before embarking on a trek to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After lunch, enjoy a swamp walk in Bigodi Sanctuary, where you can see diverse bird species, mammals, and primates. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying views of the Rwenzori Mountains and Lake George along the way. Upon arrival, check into the lodge for lunch, followed by an optional afternoon game drive to see elephants, buffalos, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge/Buffalo Safari Lodge
Day 7: Game Drive/Lion Tracking and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start the day with a game drive or lion tracking experience in Kasenyi plains to spot lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes. After lunch, take a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel to see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector
After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. En route, stop at Ishasha sector to see the famous tree-climbing lions. After lunch, continue to Bwindi and check into your lodge for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Valley Lodge/Bakiga Lodge
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Begin the day with an early breakfast and a briefing at the park headquarters. Trek through the forest to find a gorilla family and spend an hour observing these magnificent creatures. Afterward, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 10: Nature Walk in Bwindi
Enjoy a guided nature walk in Bwindi, where you can see various animals, birds, butterflies, and plants. After the walk, return to the lodge for lunch and leisure time
Day 11: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, travel to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest freshwater lake in Uganda. Enjoy a canoe ride to explore the lake’s islands and see numerous bird species. Check into your lodge for lunch, followed by optional activities like a nature walk or community tour. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia Lodge
Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After a relaxed breakfast, journey to Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, check into the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to see buffaloes, waterbucks, elands, impalas, and zebras. Dinner and overnight at Eagles Nest Lodge
Day 13: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Lake Mburo
Begin with a morning game drive to spot various wildlife, including zebras and giraffes. After lunch, embark on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to see hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 14: Departure
After breakfast, check out and start the journey back to Kampala. Enjoy lunch at the Equator and continue to Kampala, arriving in the early evening. Your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or at a location of your choice
