Itinerary

Meet your guide and after a short briefing, transfer by road to Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy scenic views of the changing landscape. On arrival, check into your lodge at Kibale Forest Camp. Relax and enjoy dinner.

Have an early breakfast at the lodge. Proceed to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Begin your chimpanzee trekking adventure in the forest. Encounter various other primates and birds along the trails.

You are allowed an hour to interact with the chimps, taking pictures, videos and just enjoying the magnitude of your encounter. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Optionally, take a guided nature walk around the lodge area or relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

After breakfast, embark on a guided swamp walk in the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, adjacent to Kibale Forest. Explore the diverse flora and fauna, including primates, birds, and butterflies. Return to the lodge to freshen up and check out. Transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala. Depending on your departure time, relax at a hotel near the airport or proceed directly to Entebbe International Airport for your onward journey
